Hello !
It looks to be early early Spring in Austin this month. Odd for Texas yet the bright sunny days with birds migrating and green beginning to pop inspires the heart and soul.
The photo above was taken Spring 2014. No photoshop - 100% Nature Beauty. My neighbor has lovely Texas native organic gardens which include this sweet grove of white yarrow (achillia millefolium) . . . lush and happy every year ! I was creating a nature essence, listening and seeing heart to heart when this unique yarrow said Hello!
I love the natural heart shape with open space for the unseen, invisible realm contained within what is seen. A message of allowing space for dreams yet to come to be nourished and grown within safe containment of the Heart. Invite a little more Love each day.
Yarrow and I first met thirty years ago as I hiked and backpacked. Around that time, I also began to study healing with plants through the arts of herbalism, aromatherapy and flower essences.
Yarrow is one of my favorite allies. If you know me, you hear me say this often for almost every plant. It is true! Overtime through relating with plants and Nature they become trusted allies and dear friends.
There are three yarrows - white, pink and golden. Each of them offer their unique medicine on their own or together in partnership. There is so much to share on this lovely healing being.
For now . . . an invitation to take a moment and meet the essence of white yarrow : :
Become aware of your breath, soften your eyes, breathe and be . . . invite your awareness to be with your physical heart and heart center (center upper chest). Breathe.
Gently your eyes look at the photo above. Breathe with your Heart and Allow.
With your senses notice the textures of the petals, the shape of the flower, the in between spaces. Allow your self to Listen with your senses . Breathe and receive. Enjoy . . .
